A downloadable game

This is my entry for the Phaze101 August 1KB Game Jam.
Its a simple little clone of Dino Run, the Google Chrome browser game.   :)

A sprite jump over other sprites, while the game checks for collisions between them. It also keeps track of how long you manage to keep jumping over the obstacles, which is used to calculate a kind of score.

So, nothing particularly special, and it’s probably not programmed in the most sophisticated way either. But it’s playable, and it fits into 1024 bytes which was the whole target point.  :)

The game comes as a directly executable C64 program that you can run on a real C64 or in the VICE emulator. You can simply drag and drop the game file onto VICE and start playing. The source code is also available for download and can be compiled using KickAssembler.

The files will be available once the Game Jam has ended.
